Cricket takes centre stage this weekend as Barbados hosts the closing stages of the 2026 Caribbean Premier League. The official Barbados tourism site is promoting September 5–20 as CPL season, with the tournament finale taking place in Barbados for the first time.

With the concert happening on the night before the CPL final, expect a strong party atmosphere across the island.

🌿 Saturday: Move, Explore & Support Community Activities
Not everything this weekend has to be about late nights.
Saturday’s listings also include Move Barbados: Every Body in Motion at Queen’s Park in Bridgetown, featuring dance, cheer, aquatics and other community-focused activities. A Health and Wellness Fair is also listed at the Main Guard Building in The Garrison.
These can be good alternatives for families or anyone looking for a daytime activity before the evening entertainment begins.

A Friday evening visit to Oistins remains an easy way to combine grilled fish, local dishes, music and an energetic seaside atmosphere.
Or build your own food crawl around Bridgetown, Hastings, Worthing or the west coast. Try a fish cutter, macaroni pie, grilled fish, pudding and souse or something from a local rum shop or neighbourhood restaurant.
The experience doesn’t always need to be a scheduled event. Sometimes discovering a new place to eat is the event.
