Here’s something genuinely different.

It’s a classic Barbados experience — and a relaxed way to finish the weekend.
🍴 Keep It Local: Make Time for Some Bajan Food
No CESN Barbados weekend would be complete without something good to eat.
If you’re heading out on Friday night, consider adding a stop at Oistins for fish, local food, music and the atmosphere around the fish fry.
Or make this the weekend you try somewhere you’ve never eaten before.
Look beyond the familiar favourites and support a local restaurant, café, rum shop, food vendor or small business along the way.
🇧🇧 CESN Weekend Pick: Discover a Different Barbados
If there is a theme to this weekend, it is:
Go beyond the familiar.
Explore a wetland.
Walk through the Scotland District.
Hear local jazz.
Discover Barbadian art.
Hike the northern coastline.
Visit a working farm.
Or simply find a local business you’ve never visited before.
The experiences that stay with us aren’t always the biggest events. Sometimes they’re the places, people and stories we didn’t know were there.
📌 Plan Your Barbados Weekend
Whatever you choose, remember:
✓ Book ahead where reservations are required
✓ Confirm event times and ticket availability directly with organizers
✓ Check weather conditions before outdoor activities
✓ Carry water and sun protection for daytime adventures
✓ Support local businesses while you’re out exploring
Event details can change. CESN recommends confirming dates, times, prices, availability and weather conditions directly with event organizers or venues before heading out.
