The Caribbean Grand Market opens on Friday, August 21 at CARIFESTA House, Waterford, St. Michael, and continues through August 30.

When de sun goes down, Barbados does not shut down.
If you are looking for some music and nightlife this weekend, there are several options appearing on current Barbados event calendars.
Friday: Karaoke, Latin Dancing or a Lime
For something casual, Lucky Horseshoe City Centre has its recurring Friday Karaoke Lime featuring the Betty West Band and DJ Eggs, with the advertised session running from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Another option listed for Friday is Sabor Latino at the Radisson Hotel Barbados, with salsa dancing and a social from approximately 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
